They are your key to developing healthy relationships with those who share your interests, or those who are dealing with similar life issues. Groups are an opportunity to reach out to others while growing in your walk with God. Groups meet in homes, businesses, restaurants, or other locations throughout the city. These groups change and begin at different times during the year, so you have the opportunity to explore different groups, or to join one at any time. Why Group Life Exists
Group Life has one simple purpose—to bring people together. We believe God created us to live in community with others and only then can we experience the full life He intends for us. Meaningful relationships can be hard to develop, that’s why Group Life exists—to make life-changing relationships relevant and accessible.
What a Group Is
A group is made up of people who share similar interests, are in the same stage of life, or want to learn from each other. People connect for all sorts of reasons, whether it’s playing a sport, spending time at a park, having lunch during the workday, or studying the Bible together. The point is not what you do when you meet, it’s that you are meeting regularly with others and living in community as God designed you to live.
Why You Should Join a Group
It is through life together that our problems become smaller as God uses others to bring support and encouragement to our lives. Even when you might not realize you need it, your group will quickly become a place where others don’t just know your name, but they care about what is happening in your life and want to support you in your spiritual journey.
